World War Two and Iraq Veterans Hold Reunion in Raleigh

Jeremy Loeb: World War Two and Iraq war veterans are holding a reunion in Raleigh this weekend. Jessica Jones reports.
Jessica Jones: The reuion is organized by the 30th Infantry Division Association, otherwise known as "Old Hickory. Many of its members who served in World War Two will be there, as will members of hte 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team of the North Carolina Army National Guard. The brigade is considered the modern-day descendant of the old division. Hank Stairs is a World War Two veteran who traveled from New Jersey to welcome the newer members of the group.
Hank Stairs: We were so happy to have them join us, they are part of us, and they will carry on the tradition of the 30th after we are long gone.
The reunion will include historic displays of the association, World War Two reenactors complete with uniforms, and a cookout for both old and new members. Jessica Jones, North Carolina Public Radio, WUNC.
