Also on today's show: a climate change conference at Warren Wilson College, and an in-studio visit by the band Butterflies, which was a lot of fun.
Tomorrow, I'm off to Elon for the AP Broadcast awards. Senator Kay Hagan is the keynoter, which ought to be fun in a room full of reporters. Acoustics permitting, I'll try to record it in case she says something newsworthy. I'll update here tomorrow on what she said and what I won.
