Senate: We're on board

As of 8:00 this evening, both Senate President pro tem Marc Basnight and Majority Leader Tony Rand say they've reached agreement with the House and the Governor on a compromise incentives plan that will benefit Goodyear and up to four other companies, including Goodyear competitor Bridgestone-Firestone.
Senator Rand was cautious, noting "There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the final wording....we're not there yet." But he says they're in agreement on the framework, and he believes Goodyear will be on board with it, too, when the final document is prepared..."depending on what the wording is."
Basnight was even more positive about the agreement: "We've reviewed it, and it meets the needs of our two plants."
No one's seen the actual bill yet (they're still writing it) - but Dome's Ryan Teague Beckwith has a rundown of what details are available.
Assuming it's done, the House will vote on the compromise tomorrow and send it on to the Senate. Session starts at 10am.
