After about 90 minutes of debate, the House has voted 65-53 on party lines to approve the budget deal. House GOP leaders raised a point of order over the bill's inclusion of a local option sales/transfer tax and some other provisions. House rules say the conference report can only include items that were in one budget bill or the other. But Speaker Joe Hackney overruled the objection.
