Golda Adams from Alamance County was a long-time fan of Back Porch Music and would call often to say "hello." We remember her with this 2000 interview. She died a few months after this recording was made in her Burlington home:
Golda was also a writer and in the spring of 1969 she wrote a "Letter to the Moon" letter the moon know that "we were coming for a visit". The essay was picked up and circulated by the Associated Press in newspapers across the country.
